Sedona Lodging

When planning your trip to Sedona, there are many lodging choices to consider. From a world class resort, to a sleeping bag under the stars, you have myriads of options from which to choose. Fortunately, you don't necessarily have to narrow them down! Since there is so much to experience in Sedona, we suggest you sample everything. And we are here to show you how!

The Best in Sedona Lodging
As we've stated before, the key to knowing which Sedona lodging choice would be best for your trip is keeping a clear idea of what type of trip you'd like to take. Is this a romantic getaway or a family vacation with the kids? Would you like to do to a lot of physical outdoor activity in Sedona, or would you rather be pampered and taken care of at a Sedona spa? While these questions may seem silly, it is very important that you know the answers before you start planning.

Camping in Sedona
In our opinion, one of the best trips you can take to Sedona is a camping trip. Camping out in Sedona is something that you should definitely experience--even if camping isn't your "thing." The best way to camp out in Sedona is to cheat a little bit. Don't plan your entire Sedona vacation around your campout. Rather, go ahead and secure a hotel for the entirely of your trip, then go camping for one or two nights. This way, you don't have to bring all of your luggage, toiletries, etc., with you. Instead you can take what you need from your home base (i.e., your hotel room), rent some camping equipment, and truly enjoy yourself!

Staying at a Spa
Another excellent Sedona lodging idea is to stay in a spa. Sedona is known around the world for its excellent spa treatments. One of the main reasons for this is that most Sedona spas use techniques and materials exclusive to Sedona. Natural hot springs, mud baths, and/or Sedona clay wraps are just a few of the unique treatments you can find in Sedona. Even if you choose not to stay in a Sedona spa, you should definitely spend at least one afternoon relaxing in one of Sedona's many spa resorts.

As you can see, there are many options when traveling to Sedona. Fortunately for you, you don't have to narrow your choices down to just one! Go ahead and pick a Sedona lodging location that best complements your tastes and budget, and then branch out and sample some other accommodations! In Sedona, it is all about your personal experience. So do your best to make sure you get a taste of it all!
